by Andrea O'Connell

The defense in the case against Casey Anthony has today released their expert witness reports which the State of Florida has been looking for, and which Judge Perry ordered them to release by December 23, 2010.

You can find the defense’s response to the State’s motion at the link below.

From the article: the defense wants to keep out the findings of Oak Ridge. That would not change much as there is Cindy’s, George’s, and Yuri’s testimonies on the smell from the trunk. It looks like their autopsy report won’t be much different than what Dr. G. concluded so semantics will be in play during that testimony at trial. I could almost bet that the State will be able to get the fine doctor to agree with Dr. G.’s report during his deposition.

Okay, now I will go read the pdf.

Hey Sherry, I agree with you – even if the court disallows Oakridge, the State still had the testimony of three people who have the background to identify such smells: Cindy, George, and Yuri, plus any additional officers at the Anthony home when the car was there.

I agree, too with their witness agreeing with Dr. G. If the defense says they don’t have a “cause of death” that is easily overcome by reminding the jury of the duct tape found hanging from Caylees hair and skull.

Clearly the duct tape, if it did not kill her, was indicative of an act of homicide….

I am anxious to read the document, too…. I will get a chance to pour over it this evening. 🙂

Thank you Hilde! I am so glad you told me that…. I thought maybe it was my tired eyes playing tricks on me…. I will have to try a solid background, I think. Will you tell me if that works, Hilde? Again, I am so grateful for your feedback.
