phantom hearts, phantom everything
It’s a mad, mad, mad world for Casey Anthony’s defense team.
I think they’d like to believe in miracles. They would like to believe there IS a Santa Claus, and they’d love to believe in Casey’s innocence.
This, my friends, sums up the world of Jose Baez and friends:
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see? ~ Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll

That pretty much sums it up in the little mind of Jose Baez. If she is so innocent, why on earth is he coloring motion after motion to have evidence thrown out???? It’s the prosecutions burden. Have a seat Jose. LOL!!
“If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there.” Another quote by Lewis Carroll that seems apt for this defense journey.
The only phantom heart or heart in question is Casey’s
ain’t that the truth!
That idiot Baez is filling up the clerk’s office with motions today, and we still have tomorrow yet to go! Basically, he wants EVERYTHING that leads to her guilt thrown out! Too bad, too sad. They had their chance and blew it!
Hey Venice! Wow, I just got home and see that the defense has been quite busy! They want Casey’s video taped reaction to Caylee’s body being found suppressed and I also read that they are asking that the odor analysis of decomposition be excluded, too.
They may prevail with the video taping, but I doubt the odor analysis will be barred.
This just tells me how damning that tape is for Casey. She knew right then….GAME OVER and she had to change stories (again). I hope the honorable Judge lets this come in, and let the jury decide if her reaction is totally telling. I would like to that tape myself.
Hey Diana, Yup! It’s really not helpful for the defense by a long shot… I’d really like to see it, too. If the Judge allows it in evidence, we just may see it… time will tell. 🙂
