casey anthony hearing tomorrow

by Andrea O'Connell

A status hearing is scheduled in the Casey Anthony case tomorrow, at 2:00.  This hearing will focus on the jury selection process that Judge Perry previously indicated needed to be addressed.

WESH is reporting that Casey Anthony will not be present at tomorrow’s hearing.

According to WESH, the court is not going to address any motions.

It is anyone’s guess when Judge Perry will addresses the recent motion to vacate the Baez sanction.  Incidentally, Jose Baez did pay the $583 court fine yesterday.

WESH will cover the hearing live.

See? Things are looking up for Baez. He didn’t send the money with a conveyor who got caught snarled in traffic to miss the courthouse open hours.
He didn’t send $275 rather than the full amount. I say, three cheers!!

As for his lengthy, excuse-based motion for leniency, I couldn’t find the section in which he apologizes to the court for his behavior in addressing the
Judge over having to do all this work in the first place. Perhaps I missed it.

Love your point of view, OTC!
Here’s a hip hip hooooray for the poor duhfense getting a bit of a break – but not really. Oh, they’d sure like to be the “come-from-behind-team” and whoop the other team, like a football game – whoop the Judge, whoop the State, whoop the wind to get Casey off. Baez and Mason are playing games here with the law while their client faces the end-game of all end-games….

I do wish this were a real hearing tomorrow so we could see Baez get whooped by his own game! 🙂

I wonder if anyone who frequents blogs will be excluded from the jury selection? My guess is YES, but I don’t know why! 🙂

LOL! Oh boy, that would be something! The best way to avoid getting picked to be a juror on this case is to admit to blogging! i bet it will be a task to find people who haven’t heard about this case – thanks to the defense team.

I think we should all volunteer to be on the jury and then, once the trial has been completed, just sit around the jury room for three weeks or so playing Parcheesi while Casey, Baez, G&A and company sweat their butts off waiting to hear our verdict and hoping the delay indicates things are going favorably for them.
